Maharashtra Social Media ‘Dhurandhar’ - the raw & realistic espionage thriller that breaks the stereotypical presentation of Indian spies & shows us the gritty ground reality of our secret agents.

In one of the key scenes of recently released espionage thriller ‘Dhurandhar’, R Madhavan’s character says -“Hindustaniyon ka sabse bada dushman toh Hindustani hi hai. Pakistan toh dusre number par aata hai”. This dialogue is so true in today’s context & that’s why this movie ‘Dhurandhar’ is giving nightmares to the so called liberal & secular gangs of India.

Aditya Dhar’s second directorial ‘Dhurandhar’ exposes the reality of how Pakistan has always been involved in the terrorists activities happening in India. Dhar bravely reveals the facts that how The Kandahar plane hijack, the 2001 parliament attacks, 26/11 attack are linked. Pakistan has always tried to create a panic situation in India. In fact they also tried to destroy the Indian economy by introducing the fake currency notes.

What Aditya Dhar showed us in ‘Uri- the surgical strike’ was just a trailer of what he wants to say. In ‘Dhurandhar’ he has presented the facts which I am quite sure many of us won’t be aware of. I request everyone to be careful & stay away from people who are calling this movie a propaganda or jingoistic. According to such people, showing Deshbhakti is jingoistic but promoting India- Pakistan bhaichara is absolute Cinema.

I won’t talk about the technicalities or the performances of this film as I feel that the subject & the facts that this film has portrayed are in itself something that we must be aware of. The Kandahar Hijack scene & 26/11 scene will literally break your soul. Both the scenes are so well depicted that we literally feel restless & weak just the way, the characters of R Madhavan & Ranveer Singh feel in that scene. All I would say is that ‘Dhurandhar’ is a master class in every aspect of filmmaking.

I urge every person reading this post to go and watch this film in the theatre. Rarely do we get to watch a film which reveals the key facts of our history. It’s important that we support such films instead of some stupid spy films who are feeding the fake narrative of Bhaichara by showing us that ISI is helping RAW to fight terrorism.

DHURANDHAR is an ode to all those unsung heroes who work silently to protect our country from all kinds of threats (External & Internal)
